We are sad to announce that on September 5, 2020, at the age of 93, Thomas Gordon Whitman of Wallingford, Connecticut, born in Amasa, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter J. Whitman and Ina Whitman (Smolander); his wife Rose Helen McMahon; and his siblings, Veronica Whitman Tusa (Edward V.), John (Alice Anderson), Gianvanna Whitman Sirvidas (Albert), Evelyn Whitman Petrovic (Joseph, Jr), Stanley, Patricia Henry Groat (George) and Frances Whitman Brown (John).
He is survived by: his friend Bill W.; his children, Ann L. Whitman (Bill Longley) of Wallingford, CT, Peter H. Whitman of Wallingford, CT and Stephen V. Whitman (Lisa) of Wallingford, CT; his grandchildren, Katelyn M. Whitman (Jacob Botto) of Burlington, VT and Dalton P. Whitman (Alicia Musso) of Melrose, MA; his sister-in-law Margeret Whitman (Stanley); Michele R. Morris Whitman of Middletown, CT.. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
