He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor A. DeSocio and Antoinette DeSocio (Damico); and his brother Alexander DeSocio. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Zita DeSocio of Waterbury; his niece Alexa Brown (Adam); and also Ivy.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Louis's name to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place.
