She was predeceased by: her spouse Richard B. Averill; her daughter Valerie A. Hines; her grandson Richard Hinmann Jr.; and her daughter-in-law Linda Averill. She is survived by: her sons, Richard Averill of West Haven, Timothy Averill (Janice) of West Haven and Robert Averill (Pamela) of Wallingford; her grandchildren, Kristin, Robert, Thomas, John, Natalie Averill, Vanessa Caruso and Jessica Hines; her great grandchildren, Logan Caruso, Brandon Caruso and Ashley Caruso; and her brother James McConnell (Bina).
