He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Cooper of Willimantic and Wendy Kurcinik of Chaplin; his grandchildren, Mariah, Tyrique, Jaden and Sionna; and his brother Steven Kurcinik (Elizabeth). He is also survived by two nephews and one niece.
