She was predeceased by: her husband Louis "Louie" Poitras; and her parents, Alfred Madsen and Margaret Madsen (Flannery). She is survived by: her children, Ellie Puchkoris (Tony) of Enfield and Steven F. Poitras (Christine) of Suffield; her grandchildren, Amber Majka (Derek) of Charlotte, NC, Jesse Maciolek of Enfield and Chanel Marie Poitras of Suffield; her stepgrandchildren, Mark, Kevin, Christopher and Clairessa Chaput; her great grandchildren, Seth, Ethan, Zoe, Elijah, Joshua Maciolek, Sadie and Aiden Chaput; her close friend Mike Maciolek; and her pet Doc.
