He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis H. Costello and Agnes Costello (Greene); his brothers-in-law, Robert Condon and Norman Lance; and also Shirley.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Purcell; his children, James Costello (Honor) of New Orleans, LA, Susan Colligan of Sandwhich, MA, Nancy Flynn (William) of Peaks Island, ME, Lisa Costello of East Haddam, CT and Tracy Kelly (John) of Merrimac, MA; his siblings, Joan Condon of Fairfield, CT and Kevin Costello (Tina) of Bridgeport, CT; his grandchildren, Patrick, Neil, Erin, Kelsey, Tyler, Shellbe, Victoria, Connor, James, Mckenzie, Cailin and Kate; his great grandchildren, Marisol and Sophia; his siblings' children, Skip, Tim Lance, Linda Condon and Peg Brown; and his sons-in-law, Paul Colligan and Jody TenBrock.
