He is survived by: his parents, Corinne Horton Archibald and James Nelson Archibald; his wife Jane Archibald; his daughter Elizabeth Archibald Coleman; and also, Dorothy Jean Bryant, Eleanor Coleman and Samuel Coleman. He is also survived by nephews and a lively community of friends.
