He was predeceased by: his siblings, Pauline Smith, Mary Sienkiewicz, Elizabeth King, Anne Sedor, Stella Kulas and Edward Banas.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathleen Banas-Marti (David) of Windsor; his sister Katie; his granddaughter Kristen Marti of Windsor; and his friend May. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
