She was predeceased by : her parents, Gregory Lopes and Rose Robinson-Lopes; her husband Vincent Lloyd; and her siblings, Anna Deboise, Helena Newton, Alberta Lester and Henry Lopes.

She is survived by : her sister Mary Sherrod; and her niece Pamela Lopes. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews and long-time friends.

Her spiritual roots and foundation were cultivated at St. Martin DePorres Church in New Haven.
