It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert C. Sorensen of Woodbridge, Connecticut, born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on October 23, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur W. Sorensen, Sr. and Florence Ennis Sorensen-Hunter; his grandson Stephen Wood; and his brothers, Arthur W. Sorensen, Jr., Richard Sorensen and Floyd Hunter, Jr..

He is survived by : his wife Georgianna Hubbell Sorensen; his children, Amy Wood (John) of Frankfort, IL and Christian Sorensen; his daughter-in-law Amy B. Sorensen; his grandchildren, Erin Sorensen and Troy Sorensen (Kayla Ruge); his great grandchild Eleanor Sorensen of Woodbridge; and his sister Wilma Hunter of Charleston, SC..
