He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Arata Grondona and Helen Anderson Grondona; and his wife Abby Richmond Grondona. He is survived by : his sisters, Nancy Grondona Richards of Rye, NY and Susan Grondona Dolge of Savannah, GA; his niece Elizabeth Dolge; and his stepchildren, Lisa Osur and Victor Petroni. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
