With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rosemary Petruzzi of Woodbury, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Rosemary left this world on October 31, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Vincent T. Shea and Helen Louise Scully Shea; and her siblings, Sheila Shea Powers, Dr. Timothy Shea, David Shea and Atty.
She is survived by: her husband Leonard J. Petruzzi; her sister-in-law Mary Lucia Petruzzi of Southbury; her siblings' children, Rosemary Cocozza (Chris) of Bethlehem, Mary Lawrence Petruzzi of Woodbury, Amy Petruzzi of Waterbury and Peter Petruzzi (Rhonda) of Woodbury; her grandchildren, Felicity Byrne (Tim) and Leonard J. Petruzzi; and her siblings, Dr. Richard Shea (Sally) of Watertown, Helen Chittum (Jay) of Woodbury, Tara Gryga (Phil) of Wolcott, Leon F. Powers (Judy Shea) of Middlebury and Leonard Genovese of Florida. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home (2 School St, Woodbury, CT 06798). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Teresa of Avila Church (146 Main St S, Woodbury, CT 06798).
