She is survived by : her husband Charles Manning Reed; her close friend Hilary Gurdon; her children, Kathryn Reed (Gary Stranko) and Charles Manning Reed Jr.; her granddaughter Hannah Reed; her niece Peggy Plympton; her nephews, Douglas Plympton, Barclay Geib and Howell Geib; and her pet Lulu.
