It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen E. Ballou of Woodstock, Connecticut, who passed away on December 21, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Helen Layton Pendleton of Franklin and Eitel Bernhard Nicanor Swenson (Svensson); her daughter Barbara McKnight; her daughter-in-law Rebecca Ballou; and her siblings, Barbara Smith and Ben Swenson.
She is survived by : her children, Douglas Ballou of Spokane, WA, Bruce Ballou Sr. (Amanda) of Charleston, SC, Derrah Ballou of South Deerfield, MA, Brenda Ballou (Patrick Messmer) of Seward, AK and Richard S Ballou II (Tammy); her grandchildren, Hope, Hunter, Bruce Jr., Adam, Mason, Louis, Preston, Madyson, Hailey and Alysse; her great grandchildren, Abigail, Barrett, Kiara, Nicanor, Nevaeh, Cave, Norah and Stella; and her siblings, Roy Swenson (Gail) of Douglas, MA and Holly Morrissey (late Ed) of Millbury, MA.. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
