It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aflred J. Mozzone of Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on January 20, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Mozzone and Louise Thomas Mozzone; his wife Peggy Cruse; his son Thomas Stephen Mozzone; his sister Mary Ann Mozzone Robertson; and his stepfather Shebel Mickwee.
He is survived by: his children, John Michael (Pamela) of Atlanta, Gregory (Nancy) of Statham and Kathleen Mozzone Westbrook (Paul) of Loganville; his grandchildren, Katherine Mozzone, Nicholas Mozzone, Jonathan Shaw, Stephanie Mazzone, Jessica Mozzone Swan (Brian), Eric Mozzone (Hannah), Ryan Mozzone (Michelle) and Sean Alvarez; his great grandchildren, Nora, Cora and Charlee; his siblings, Ron Mickwee (Ann), Larry Mickwee (Nita) and Patty Mickwee VanLandingham; and his cousins, Louis Carusillo, Sr., Joan Carusillo and Frances Carusillo Haley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in John's name, to Snellville Animal Hospital, 2387 Main Street, Snellville, GA 30078, to benefit animals whose parents cannot afford medical services for them.
