He is survived by: his wife Abby Tolkan; his sister Jessy Tolkan; his parents, Jim Tolkan and Sherry Tolkan; his uncles, Tom LaMalfa, Nolan Lehman and Al Berman; his aunt Marice; his cousins, Laura, Steve, Gabriel Feffer, Lauren, Jon, Charlotte, Olivia Uretz and Geoffrey LaMalfa; his parents-in-law, Ann and Gary James; his sister Kristin; his brother-in-law Eric Shea; and his niece Norah Shea.
