It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Lesniak Wadas (Washington, District of Columbia), born in Utica, New York, who passed away on November 16, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Lesniak and Valeria Lesniak; and her siblings, Mary Bolanowski, Victoria Starczewski, Bernard Lesniak, Walter Lesniak and Frank Lesniak.
She is survived by: her daughter Valerie Wadas-Willingham; her son-in-law Dave Willingham; her granddaughter Alexandra Willingham (AJ); and her nieces, Karen Szczepanski of Whitesboro, NY, Claudia Bantz of Portland, ME, Patricia Seidel of Utica, NY and Elizabeth Szlek of Yorkville, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Fisher House at WRNMMC in Bethesda, Maryland.
