He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Dalton Emes; his daughter Virginia Radley Emes (Danielle Germain) of Washington, DC.; his sister-in-law Lee Dalton Hanes of Winston-Salem, NC; his brother Tucker; his sister-in-law Hynda Dalton of Easton, MD; and his sibling's children, Ashley Wiltshire (Ashton) of Chevy Chase, MD, Jennifer [John] Argenti of New York, NY, Charlotte Gerstenfeld of Manassas, VA, Caroline Gillespie (Mark) of Washington, DC and Gordon Dalton (Wendy) of Roseland, VA. He is also survived by six grand nieces and nephews.
