She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Schnitzler and Zoltan Schnitzler; her siblings, Klara and Bandi; and her brother-in-law Werner Blankenstein.
She is survived by: her husband Egon E. Weiss; her sister Eva Blankenstein; her daughter Diana L. Caplan (Jeffrey); her grandchildren, Jared Caplan (Jillian) and Drs; her great grandchild Audrey; her niece Vivian Feinstein (Steven); and her great-niece Danielle.
