She was predeceased by: her son David Barnes (Fred Davis). She is survived by: her children, Theresa Devaughn, Sheila Johnson, Robert Barnes and Veronica Burrell; her son-in-law Wayne Burrell; her siblings, Lila Hill, Denise Hall and Ricky Fuller; and her sister-in-law Claudine Barnes. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
