He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Warren Brooks and Lelia Brooks; his great-grandparents, Albert Royal Brooks and Lucy Goode Brooks; his grandfather Rev. Walter H. Brooks; and his wife Kathryn. He was also cherished by daughter, two sons, seven grandchildren, a great-grandchild, a brother, and a host of dear relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Nineteenth Street Baptist Church in the name of the Dr. Ettyce H. Moore Scholarship Fund.
