She was predeceased by: her husband James P. Spelman; her sister Ann Marie Peacock; and her granddaughter Kimberly Dawn Shields. She is survived by: her sister Kathleen McGregor; her children, Mary Alice Castle (Kenneth), Patricia A. Graham (Bob), Joseph W. Spelman (Shirley), James P. Spelman, Jr., Kathleen Skowron, Grace M. Garner (Kenneth) and Christine T. Owen (Danny); and her grandchildren, James Vincent Shields, Valerie Shields Rey, Zachery Aaron Castle, Rebecca Elizabeth Castle, Andrew Michael Graham, Meghan Kathleen Graham, Thomas William Graham, Robert Joseph Spelman, Tracy Elisabeth Spelman, Matthew Thomas Skowron, Casey Graham Skowron, Kristine Nichole Robertson, Jeremey Wayne Robertson, Emily Catherine Owen and Glen Patrick Owen. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
