He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas and Annie Robinson Stokes; and his siblings, Earl, Trumilla and Annette.
He is survived by: his children, Fritz T. Stokes, Ivory James Stokes, Jr. (late Dorothy), Timmy and Lakeisha Jemal Hinton; his grandchild Ryza; his great grandchild Jordan; and his siblings-in-law, George Monk, Rose Stokes, Pearl Hinson and Dee Liggins.
