He was predeceased by: his wife Jana Sims Moynihan; and his parents, James Moynihan and Hannorah Moynihan. He is survived by: his children, James C. Moynihan (Kristen) and Jeanene B. Livingston (Christopher); and his grandchildren, Samuel, Matthew Moynihan and Colleen Livingston.
