He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Snitz and Frances Snitz; and his grandson Ryan Scott. He is survived by: his wife Anita Snitz; his children, Philip G. Snitz (Crystal) and Andrea March (Richie Austin); his sisters, Eileen Kaufman and Karen Harman; and his grandchildren, Abigail Snitz, Austin Snitz and John Daniel March. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
