He is survived by: his brother Robert; his siblings' child Claire; his sister Sheila Royster (Walter); his wife Ruth Marr; his children, Joseph Smoot, Sheila Marr, Tabithia Marr and Regina Marr; his grandchildren, Renee, Lanee, Jessica, Lauren, Lawrence, III, Darnell, Dwayne, Earl (Tyji), Ryan, Antonio, Donte, Tavarus, Kaden and Gavin; and his uncle Pete. He is also survived by great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
