She was predeceased by: her brother Elbert Croom. She is survived by: her husband Joseph E. A. Johnson Jr.; her children, Lisa M. Johnson and Michael J. K. Johnson; her grandchildren, Evans Chambers, Alexander Chambers, Elisha Chambers and Danielle Johnson; and her great grandchildren, Adam Chambers, Raegan Chambers, Owen Chambers, Rachel Johnson, Trina Chambers, Joseph Johnson III, Glise Johnson and Elaine Lyons.
Mae was always willing to give of her time and her means as a loyal supporter of numerous charities like The American Cancer Society, Children's Charities, and SDA World ministries.
