She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandparents, Rolly and Mattie Desper; her mother Beatrice Dixon; her former husband Joseph W. Lane; her spouse Dr. Hardy Cofield of Enfield; her children, Joseph W. Lane Jr. and Karen L. Lewis (James Lewis III); and her grandchildren, Jennifer N. Lewis and Christopher J. Lewis. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
