She was predeceased by: her parents, Isabelle and Marshall Howell, Sr.; her husband Richard; her granddaughter Avis Wilson; her brothers, Wilfred and Marshall Howell, Jr.; and her niece Joan Wilson Epps.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Richard Jr. (Sheila), Michael (Shirley) and Dr. Yvonne Wilson. She is also survived by six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, four nieces, one nephew, and a host of other relatives and friends.
