He is survived by: his son Eyoel; his mother Aynalem Tadesse; his adoptive mother Rosette Randrianasolo; his grandmother Asamenech Yimam (Emeteye); and his siblings, Zema, Mnelik and Gelawdios. He is also survived by his many nephews and nieces, several cousins, and his large extended family.
