It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pauline W. Oliver of Washington, District of Columbia, born in Greensboro, North Carolina, who passed away on December 25, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Phelon and Allie Mae Wade Wiley; her husband Nathaniel Oliver; her daughter Phyllis De'pree Oliver; and her siblings, Earnest Wiley, Freddy Wiley, John Erving Wiley, Ophelia Wharton, Mae Cora Tompkins, Sherdina Allen and Ollie Mae Herbin.
She is survived by: her son Nathaniel Devon Oliver; her grandchildren, Phyllis Areca De'pree Chism (Eric) and Brandon Jamaal Mathews Oliver; her great grandchildren, Paige, Madison and EJ; her sister Ola Hawkins; her siblings-in-law, Shirley Wiley, Blanche Mae Allen and L. C. Oliver; and her goddaughter Tina Burgess. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
