He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Brown and Earlene Brown; and his siblings, Calvin Brown and Marcia Tyree. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Brown of Washington, DC; his children, Derrick Brown (Nancy) of Camas, WA and Portia Bamiduro (Ademuyiwa) of Washington, DC; his siblings, Stanley Brown (Irene) of Fredericksburg, VA, Michael Brown (Julianne) of Cheverly, MD, Barbara Mayers (David) of Washington, DC and Sandra Brown of Richmond, VA; his grandsons, Grant Alexander, Kendrick Lee, Cole Anderson Brown and Daniel Ademuyiwa Bamiduro; and his siblings-in-law, Eldon Grant, Jr. (Freda), Garry Grant, Michael Grant (Deloris), Jeffrey Grant (Linda) and Earsaline Anderson (Richard). He is also survived by nephews, nieces, Godchildren, cousins, and friends.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, funeral services will be private.
