He was predeceased by: his parents, Pattie Edmonds and George Edmonds of Washington. He is survived by: his daughters, Robin Hudson (Floyd) and Wendy E. Hicks-Powers (Ronald); his grandsons, Floyd Hudson, III (Tia), Robert Hudson (Kelsey), Thomas Hudson (Kelci) and Steven Hicks (Jada); and his great grandchildren, Floyd Hudson, IV, Dylan Hudson, Braydon Hudson, Myles Hudson and Isley Hicks.
In lieu of flowers, the family would suggest donations to be made to the Friends of VSU-Virginia State University, 1 Hayden Dr. Petersburg, VA 23803.
