With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosa Brown of Washington, District of Columbia, born in Holly Hill, South Carolina, who passed away on September 3, 2020 at the age of 80. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Little (Martha) and Martha Little; her children, Brenda Brown, Linda Brown and Walter Brown, Jr.; and her siblings, Hattie Brown, Geneva Cole, Celestine Little, Tommy Lee Summers and James Little.
She is survived by: her children, Annie Ruth Daily (Vandy) of Oxon Hill, MD, James Brown of Holly Hill, SC, Franklin Brown (Wanda) of Fredericksburg, VA and Dorothy James (Stanley) of Santee, SC; her daughter-in-law Mary Brown of Bowman, SC; her siblings, Clara Daniels of Summerville, SC and Haywood Little of Elloree, SC; and her siblings-in-law, Larry Brown (Zadie) of Eutawville, SC, Charles Brown (Sylvia) of Sumter, SC, Jeff Brown, Jr. (Rose), Lizzie Keitt, Lula Bookhart of Santee, SC and Geneva Amous (Richard). She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
