She was predeceased by : her brother Terrance. She is survived by : her former life partner Donald Lee Nelson; her children, Demetrius and Deon of Northeast, DC; her grandchild Demmie King of Temple Hills, MD; and also Thor.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made in our mom's memory to SOME (So Others Might Eat), a non-profit in DC that she held in high regard.
