With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Timothy Evan Owens (Washington, District of Columbia), who passed away on July 7, 2020 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Wallace Dee Owens; and his uncle James Calvin Carlton III. He is survived by : his mother Carolyn Alice Barros; his stepfather David Nicholas Barros; his brothers, Wallace Dee Owens, Jr. (Kelly) and Mark Talton Owens (Art); his aunts, Linda Kay Stone and Celestine Jan Peterson; and his nieces, Rachel Layne Smith (Andy) and Abigail Elizabeth Owens.

Tim was actively engaged in the performing arts in Washington, DC and served on the Board of Directors of the Washington Ballet, the Orchestra of the Americas, and the Halcyon Incubator Foundation.
