She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Novella A. Patterson and James E. Patterson; her siblings, Oliver and Bernice; her daughter Viola; her former spouse Willie Mae Jones; her husband Percy Langston Ellis, Jr.; and her children, B. Webb, Goding, Powell, Percita and Bernice I. Patterson. She was also cherished by sister; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
