Hassett of Bridgeville, Delaware, born in Federalsburg, Maryland, who passed away on August 1, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Calvin Boots and Helen Hassett (Cleaver) of Virginia; his wife Pearl Hassett (Absher); his grandson Larry Bryfogle; and his brother Robert Hassett.
He is survived by : his children, Sherry Lynn Brown (Joe) of Bridgeville, DE, Belinda Bauer (Randy) of Harrington, DE, Penny Toomey (Dale) of Laurel, DE, James "Jake" Hassett (Marcie) of Seaford, DE, William Steve Hassett of Bridgeville, DE and Rick Hoffman (Dee) of Seaford, DE.; his siblings, Jackie Rose Timms and AJ Rose; and his brothers-in-law, Mack Absher of Bridgeville, DE and James Absher (Gail) of Bridgeville, DE.. He is also survived by his thirteen grandchildren; his sixteen great-grandchildren.
Due to the dangers associated with the spread of Covid 19, all attendees shall wear a mask and maintain social distancing at all times while attending any aspect of the funeral services.
