He was predeceased by : his parents, Steve Protonentis and Jackie Protonentis (McLaughlin). He is survived by : his brother Dirk Protonentis; his nieces and nephews, Paige, Elizabeth Protonentis, Danze and Steve Protonentis; his aunts and uncles, Robin Flaherty, Sarah Motsko, Jack McLaughlin and Theodore Protonentis; his friends, Lori and Matthew Cruz; and also, Jessica Deitrich, Harliegh and Xander Cruz.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to ComicBooks For Kids! in Eric's name. A charity that provides comic books to children in hospitals and cancer centers.
