With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeanette M. Gottorf (Camden Wyoming, Delaware), born in Goldsboro, Maryland, who passed away on February 16, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Francis "Teak" Gottorf; her parents, Earl Melvin and Naomi Melvin; and her siblings, Bill Melvin and Doris Knight.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Ford of Florence, SC and Joyce LeBright (Daniel) of Milford, DE; her grandchildren, Joseph LeBright (Sara), Niecy Roberts (Craig) and Jennifer Worrall (Jay); her great grandchildren, Nicolas Worrall, Christopher Worrall, Greysen Lebright and Avery LeBright; and her sibling's children, Gary Melvin, Dale Melvin, Bob Knight, Ron Knight and Linda Thomas. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to be sent to Delaware Meals on Wheels or Delaware Hospice.
