He was predeceased by: his parents, James Alvin and Jeanne Turner, Sr. (White); and his brother Francis Turner (Cheryl). He is survived by: his wife Carol Ellen Turner; his siblings, Nancy Sellers (James), Barbara Hendrickson (Donald) and Patrcia Gillispie (Franklin); his grandson JD Orbis; and his pet Buddy.
