It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loyd T. Greenwell of Delaware City, Delaware, born in Johnson City, Tennessee, who passed away on February 23, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William A. Greenwell and Virginia H. Greenwell (Holloway); his wife Barbara; his siblings, William, Millard, Doran, Jackie, Rick, Betty Markland, Mary Greenwell and Patsy Freeman; his sons, Paul, Ronnie and Jeffrey; and his daughter-in-law Helen Reader Nost.

He is survived by : his grandson Lil Joey; his sisters, Louise Ray (Jerry) and Susan Daugherty; his children, Patricia Glenn (Dub), Cheryl L. Griffin, Laura Nost-Jones (Ralph), Arthur "Biggie" Nost, Joseph "Joe" Nost and Jacob "Jake" Nost; and his granddaughter Tia Griffin. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
