He was predeceased by : his parents, Myron Jester (Barney) and Izola Turlington Jester Savage; his brother David Jester; his father-in-law Robert "Bert" Savage; and his brother-in-law Archie Rantz.

He is survived by : his wife Cathy; his daughter Wendy Savage (Ellis); his siblings, Myra Rantz, Rose Mapp (Mason), Stanley Jester (Bev) and Maurice Jester; his granddaughter Mackenzie Savage; and his close friend Pete Miller.
