He was predeceased by: his parents, George Oliver Smalley and Thelma Illeg Smalley; and his son Donald L. Smalley. He is survived by: his children, Jim Smalley (Jamie) of Magnolia and Trishia Sanders (Timothy) of Coon Rapids, MN; his grandchildren, Nate, Ethan, Evan, Christian, Owen, Decklyn, Mason, Dalton and Lexi; and his great grandchild Sophia.
