She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph E. Swain, Jr.; her parents, James Taylor Case and Lydia C. Darling Case; her brother James T. Case, Jr.; her stepmother Sarah Ingram Case; and her granddaughter Allison M. Surguy.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Swain Vreeland and Joseph Edward Swain, III (Debbie); her brother Donald Case; her granddaughters, Jessica Marker (Doug) and Beth Jachimek (James); and her great grandchildren, Alexis, Bradley, Willow and Spencer. She is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
