He was predeceased by : his wife Catherine "Kitty" Dare; his son Dustin Dare; his nephew Nicholas Dare; and his brother James Dare. He is survived by : his grandson Cameron; his son Ryan Dare; his daughter-in-law Kelsey Smith; his grandchild Everleigh Dare; and his siblings, Patrick Dare, Michael Dare, Francis Dare, Kelly Dare, Brian Dare, Theresa Walters and Sharon Marple. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
