He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Greenfield and Dorothy Wippermueller Greenfield. He is survived by: his children, Adam Greenfield, Adriene Greenfield, David Greenfield (Kathy) and Sharon Greenfield Cohee (Don); his grandsons, Brian Greenfield, Jonathan Greenfield, Caleb Greenfield, Corey Cohee (Kelli) and Jason Cohee (Stacey); and his sister Caroline Richter.

He received Kiwanian of the Year Award and Life Membership was granted in 1988 from Capital District Kiwanis Foundation, Inc.
