He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd A. Megee and Myrtle Shockley Megee; his daughter Loriann White; and his sister Reba Fleetwood. He is survived by: his wife Gail Pettyjohn Megee; his children, Lisa Lovenguth (Chris) of Milton, DE, Ron D. Megee of Georgetown, DE and Don W. Megee (Tara) of Georgetown; his grandchildren, Colby, Corey, Chelsea, Maggie, Kit, Chase, Niki and Kennedy; his great grandchildren, Patrick, Brayden, Landon, Jax, Brylee and Saunder; and his siblings, Bonnie King of Georgetown, Bessie Banks (Roger) of South Carolina, Teresa Patterson (Mark) of Dagsboro, Rhonda Davis of Georgetown, Cheryl Howard of Georgetown and Terry Megee of Georgetown.
