It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bonita S. Rose of Greenwood, Delaware, born in Narrows, Virginia, who passed away on September 12, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Edison Spangler and Aleta Ann Hale (Lamb); her stepfather Harold Hale; her sister Connie Meredith; her half-sister Stacy Bostic; her uncle Edward Lamb; and her siblings-in-law, Kent Rose, Bertha Carroll (Rose) and Ramona Howell (Rose).
She is survived by: her husband Scott Rose; her daughter Ashley Venett; her son-in-law Steve; her granddaughters, Audrey and Amara Venett; her sisters-in-law, Shirley Powell (Rose) and Eleanor Pate (Rose); and her aunt Freta Lamb. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to either Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963 or to the Reformation Lutheran Church, children's ministry, 613 Lakeview Avenue, Milford, DE 19963.
