He is survived by : his children, David Hankins (Valerie Hankins) and Donna Pyne (Dave Pyne); his granddaughter Amanda (Robert Rettig); his great grandchildren, Savannah, Laura, Elizabeth and Marie; his granddaughter Candice (Joey Leyanna); his great grandchildren, Carter and Owen; his wife Jean; and his granddaughter Rachel Hankins.
